SUMMARY AND IMPACT

Unifying the game management experience to deliver consistency every single time.

I worked at Roblox as a Product Design Intern, where I tackled design inconsistencies in Creator Hub, a platform that helps game creators manage their experiences. As the sole design intern on the Creator team, I worked with key stakeholders across visual systems, product design, and engineering. While work is under NDA, my main contributions included:

  1. Creating responsive templates that unified over 40 pages, making it easier to deliver accessible designs consistently.

  2. Consolidating existing design systems to build a universal button framework across all products.

  3. Improving component and layout documentation in the Roblox Foundations design system.

When it comes to design systems, innovation can take many forms.

Design systems work builds small processes that massively impact a product. By standardizing workflows and ensuring consistency, they simplify the design process, spark creative solutions, and drive impactful transformations.

Accessibility is the DNA of design work.

How do I create designs that stand the test of time? By stress testing with numerous cases, I ensured my designs were robust. I also learned how to prioritize accessibility and WCAG guidelines, resulting in a sustainable product solution!

Be a self-starter.

As the only design intern on the largest team, I had to take charge, seek early feedback, and communicate effectively. Be open-minded to new possibilities and collaborate with others — it makes the design process both stronger and way more fun!
